Elliot Fox is an artist working in sculpture and image based mediums as well as video, sound and animation. His work explores how specific geographical idiosyncrasies of an area can effect behaviour, culture and relationships. Themes of energy production and what future defunct energy systems look like within the landscape and how our relationships with those objects will evolve over time. As well as looking at the way Innate, Pre-Linguistic connections we share with all living beings as well as the landscape - and how these manifest themselves through technology - that being an extension of ourselves. Currently studying MFA Sculpture at Slade School of Art, Elliot has presented solo exhibitions ‘Idol Hands’ (Platform Southwark, London) and ‘Psycho Geology’ (Anderson Contemporary, London) curated by Hector Campbell and Georgia Stephenson respectively. As well as selected group shows with Soup Gallery (London), Coherent (Brussels) Tick Tack (Antwerp) and Turnus (Warsaw).
